Client Testimonials
Lead Your K9 has made a big difference for my adopted puppy Penny. She was about 9/10months old when she did her Board and Train. Before she went to LYK9 she was very insecure, always on guard, pulling during walks, terrified to go through doors and leash and fence reactive to both people and dogs. They gave me the tools and training I needed to help Penny overcome obstacles that popped up in life. Several years later Penny is now more confident, goes through doors with little issues, and her reactivity has improved greatly. Without LYK9 we would probably still be struggling with finding a way to help her. Penny loves seeing all the trainers and Enrichment days are her favorite days.

Lead Your K9 has significantly changed my life with my dogs for the better. Both my dogs, Korah and Knox went through the board and train programs. They have significantly improved both of their obedience skills and in Korah’s case her confidence. The trainers here specifically Nicolette and Sana are extremely helpful and supportive through the whole board and train process. They both continue to help me with any concerns or questions I may have regarding Knox and Korah! Because of everything my dogs learned at their board and trains home life is significantly leas stressful. Thank you Lead Your K9!
We love Lead Your K9!! Ellie has learned so many great skills. I feel confident with the guidance, and training I also received moving forward from here, and being successful starting this new journey with Ellie. Online trainings were so helpful, and so was the face to face trainings. Very thorough. Environment is very clean, and organized. Staff is very knowledgeable, patient, caring, and professional! We had a great experience!
Our 14-year-old watched The Exorcist for the first time last night. Her conclusion: Tony and Jayme are actually dog priests and performed an exorcism on Milo, because in actuality he was possessed by a demon before he did board and train at Lead Your K9. You might laugh at this -- we did, too -- but it's no joke that the six weeks our Jack Russell Mix spent at LYK9 completely changed our quality of life with our dog.
Tony, Jayme, and the staff at Lead Your K9 have played a huge impact on the my life and the relationship I have with my two golden kiddos. Imagine this scenario.. you have this grand idea that you will get two golden retriever litter mates (who will be the best of friends..), you’ll be able to train them as puppies, and go on all kinds of adventures with them. Fast forward 18 months and they control your life. Every single move you make must be strategically planned with the dogs in mind. Those “adventures” you thought you would take consist of playing in the fenced in yard because you are physically incapable of even taking them for a walk on leash so forget any kind of actual adventure. Taking them to the vet or the groomer is a nightmare and they have to go one at a time because you can’t control both of them together and you poorly handle one at a time. You experienced multiple cuts and scrapes over these months from all the times that you ended up on the ground from the pure strength that they have on leash. You are at the point that you don’t even invite people to your house (or joked you would make humans sign a contract that you are not responsible for any injuries) because you are fearful that they will get injured from the chaos that occurs with the dogs. Then one day your dogs get out and run down a driveway at a busy road and all you can think about is them getting hit by a car because you truthfully have no good communication with them, thankfully by some higher power they decided that day to stop just shy of the road and come running back to you. Well this was my life and this day was my last straw I knew I couldn’t go on living like this with my dogs anymore.
“We have never been able to walk Jake, our 5 yr old German Shepherd, on a leash without him pulling, bucking or dragging us all over the place! Within 20 min of meeting Jake for the first time, Tony was walking him without any issues. Both Tony and Jayme are very knowledgeable, professional, warm and friendly. This was such a wonderful experience, can’t wait to practice what we learned. Muchas gracias!!!”

“Jayme and Tony are great to work with! Walking our dog on a leash was horrible. From constantly pulling, running after things, and dragging us down the street, I’m glad we can finally take our girl on walks without any of these issues. Besides terrible leash walking, they not only taught Wishes new skills, but also taught my husband and I things we didn’t know and if we did, we were definitely doing it wrong! Jayme and Tony definitely passionate about what they do & we can’t thank them enough for how much they taught us!!”

“Tony & Jayme provide alot of services. I've used classes, boarding, & socialization. They also offer facetime Q&A sessions. Busy place! But calm and orderly! Ike my weimaraner now attends enrichment (day program with structure and learning) which keeps him happy! They monitor his skills while providing a fun environment. Great staff! I'm thankful for the consistency they provide. So is Ike! He is a happy weim!”

“Getting involved with Lead Your K9 is the greatest decision we have made for our dog. Not only do we now have a more well behaved dog, but we have a more confident dog. We started with a board and train for our rescue pup with anxiety issues. We have continued since then to use their socialization classes, boarding and enrichment classes to continue helping our pup learn new skills and get more comfortable around both dogs and people. Now we don't have to worry about having people over and her hiding because she's terrified, or not being able to take her anywhere due to her anxiety. Instead we have the tools to help work her through those situations so that she gets to enjoy life more. Tony and Jayme will give you and your dog all the tools you need to build a better relationship and life with your dog. I cannot thank them and the rest of the staff enough for giving us and our pup a better life together and always taking the best care of Luna when she is there!”
“Luka went on a trip to Cabelas to visit Santa! He was so well behaved and followed all his commands!”
