Is there anything else you feel we should know about your dog?
*
Describe your dogs best qualities.
What would it mean for you to have your dog actually listen to you where you’re not constantly getting stressed out?
*
How invested are you in getting this result? If we can help you get this result, would you be interested?
*
I understand that I must practice with my dog / puppy consistently in order for my dog to progress through the program. If I do not meet this requirement, I understand my dog won’t learn all of the commands he’s capable of learning in the program.
*
I understand that my dog entering a social setting with other dogs means that spats and small injuries, although rare, do happen from time to time. We guarantee that there is never a time that your dog is left unattended in a social setting. We do everything in our power to reduce the risk of and prevent injury, but sometimes dogs do receive injury and some of those may require veterinary attention. This is an inherent risk in dog socialization. We ask that our clients are clear about these risks and understand that we do everything in our power to prevent any and ideally all incidents with a high degree of care, and that we provide immediate vet attention when needed. This is all at the risk and cost of the owner.
*
If Lead Your K9 advises my dog to wear a muzzle for human aggression or dog aggression training, I will comply with this request.
*
I understand what vaccinations I am required to have.
*
I understand that by enrolling my dog in a dog training program where they will be around other dogs and training in public areas increases the risks of exposing my dog to germs and other normally contagious illnesses. Lead Your K9 takes cleanliness seriously and cleans beyond the industry standard, but just like human daycares and playgrounds, eliminating 100% of the chance of things like kennel cough are impossible. As a result, we ask the client to take responsibility of all illnesses that may be contracted. I also understand that during the course of daily training there is a higher level of activity for my dog which may result in weight loss or less typical wear to my dog’s feet (i.e. rough paw pads or broken nails, etc.). Lead Your K9 will monitor these issues closely but will not be responsible for any expenses associated with treatment for these conditions.
*
I understand that, as the client, and anyone involved with my dog will be given guidance and instructions that are required to continue and maintain the training at a satisfactory level. Our ultimate goal is for the clients (human and dog) to be ecstatically happy with the training provided, and it is important to understand your role in training. Lead Your K9 will give you detailed instructions and guidelines during and / or at the completion of the training program. I understand that following these guidelines are essential to my dog maintaining the training provided.
